Get to Know Us

Mel and Norm Eady, owners of Bryston’s on the Park, came together to purchase the building in 1998. Together they have grown the business into the sought after facility and catering company for weddings, social events and corporate meetings.

The Owners

Melanie and Norm were married in 1997, and realized their dream in 1998 when they purchased Bryston's on the Park. They kept the name "Bryston's on the Park" because they believed it held both history and a reputation for high quality food and service, and wanted to continue with the same.

Mel Eady

OWNER & HEAD CHEF

Melanie Eady was born and raised in Sudbury. She started out waitressing at Pat & Mario's at a young age, where she fell in love with the hospitality industry. Melanie graduated from the Chef Apprentice program at Cambrian College in 1988, and obtained her Red Seal in 1991. Melanie has been in the hospitality business for over thirty years and has worked all over Sudbury in some of the finest restaurants.


Norm Eady

OWNER & GENERAL MANAGER

Norm Eady has many roles at Bryston's - he consults with clients who are interested in viewing the facility, he helps take care of the grounds and with setting up events both on and off site, and as the General Manager he is always present during events to ensure things go smoothly.
